Ms. Marvel Trailer Introduces MCU’s first Pakistani Muslim Superhero

Marvel Studios officially launched the first trailer of their upcoming Disney+ show Ms. Marvel. The series shall take a dive into the origin story of browned skinned Pakistani superhero Ms. Marvel AKA Kamala khan. It shall explore the early life of Kamala khan, Pakistani-American high school kid, who is obsessed with avengers and fantasizes about becoming a superhero. Ms. Marvel shall be the first Pakistani lead superhero, and also the first Pakistani superhero ever to be ever featured in Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The trailer shows a regular high school girl living in America and fantasizing about becoming a real superhero. Inspired by Captain marvel, Kamala khan is seen obsessed with getting superpowers like her(aren’t we all). The trailer also features Nimra Bucha a Pakistani veteran actor, and the likes of Fawad khan is also rumored to appear in the upcoming series on Disney+.

Ms. Marvel starring Iman Vellani as Ms. Marvel, Matt Lintz as Bruno Carrelli, and is to start streaming on Disney+ from June 8.
