The Batman is the longest batman movie to Date

The Batman directed by Matt Reeves is said to be the longest Batman movie to date. As reported by The Hollywood Reporter the runtime is estimated to be 2 hours and 55 minutes including 8 minutes of credits. This also makes ‘The Batman’ second-longest DC movie following Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Although, Zack Snyder’s justice league never debuted in theaters.

In comparison, The Dark Knight Rises is the longest of Chris Nolan’s trilogy starring Christian Bale as the masked vigilante. While The Dark knight cocked around 2 hrs 32 mins and Batman forever at 2 hrs 1 minute.

Generally, superhero movies these days are clocked at averaging 2.5 hrs. However, it is being recently observed that studios are investing in longer versions of superhero flicks. With Avengers: Endgame clocked at (3:02), and Zack Snyder’s Justice League at (4:02).

The Batman will open in theaters on March 04, 2022. Starring Robert Pattinson as Batman, Zoë Kravitz as Catwomen, Andy Serkis as Alfred pennyworth, and Jeffery Wright as James Gordon. Here is the full trailer:
